How to spot underpriced electronics on eBay and Facebook Marketplace

Underpriced means the asking price sits below other live listings for the same item in the same condition. It does not mean a secret wholesale number. This guide is the checklist BuyLow AI expects you to run while the live search is open.

Search live resale listings

This is the Resell search: live marketplace listings to shop. The sell quote is a separate tool, and promo codes stay on Promos. Prices below are only what the search returned.

You must be 18 or older. Google continues on the sign-up page. Guest browse opens Resell, not the sell quote.

Start with one exact search

Type the model people actually sell: 'iPhone 15 128', 'PS5 disc', 'RTX 4070'. A vague search mixes broken units with complete ones and makes every cheap listing look smart.

Read the lines that change the price

Condition words are not decoration. Parts-only, iCloud locked, bad battery, no serial, and 'for repair' should be cheaper. If they are not cheaper, the listing is not a deal.

  • On eBay, check returns, seller feedback, and whether the photo matches the title.
  • On Facebook Marketplace, assume local pickup. Confirm the item is in hand, not a photo copied from a retailer.
  • Cross-check Mercari or OfferUp when the eBay price looks lonely. One cheap listing with no peers is often a problem, not a find.

Keep shopping and selling apart

Finding a listing to buy is the Resell and Marketplace tools. Pricing an item you own is the Quote tool. Promo codes are a third page. Mixing them is how people treat a coupon as a used-market price.

Questions

What is the fastest red flag?

A price far below every similar live listing, plus pressure to pay off the marketplace. Stay on the site that hosts the listing.

Does BuyLow AI mark listings as underpriced for me?

It shows the prices the marketplaces returned. It does not stamp a deal badge from a guessed sold average.

Which electronics are worth this check?

Phones, laptops, consoles, and graphics cards, because the model numbers are specific enough to compare.

Do I need an account to try a search?

No. Browse live deals as a guest. Sign up free and continue with Google when you want an account.
