eBay vs Facebook Marketplace vs Mercari
eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Mercari do not charge the same seller and they do not hold the same listings. This comparison is about fees and how the item moves. It is not a price for any device.

Specs to match before you compare those three
A fee comparison only helps after the product matches. Use the model guides for chip, storage, and the condition checklist, then come back to the fees.
Storage tiers
Storage and memory change the product. A fee percent does not. Match the tier on the model page before you compare an eBay listing with a Mercari or Marketplace listing.
Condition checklist
Match the model, the capacity, and the working condition before you call a listing cheap.
- On eBay, read returns, shipping, and tax before you decide the sticker is lower.
- On Facebook Marketplace, local pickup can skip shipping. Meet in public and confirm the item powers on.
- On Mercari, shipping is often added at checkout. Compare the total.
- A locked, parts, or account-banned unit is not the same product on any of the three.
Marketplace fee breakdown
Seller fees for electronics you might flip are not the buyer's price and not a sold average. The ranges below are the same qualitative notes BuyLow publishes on its reselling guides. The marketplace fee page is the source of truth, because rates change.
- eBay: About 13–15% final value fee on most categories plus a small per-order fee; lower for some electronics. Fee page: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822.
- Mercari: A selling fee of about 10% plus card processing; check the current rate. Fee page: https://www.mercari.com/us/help_center/.
- Facebook Marketplace: Free for local pickup; shipped orders pay a percentage selling fee. Fee page: https://www.facebook.com/help/marketplace.
- OfferUp: Free for local sales; shipped sales pay a percentage service fee with a minimum. Fee page: https://help.offerup.com/.
- Craigslist: Free in most for-sale categories; some categories charge a small posting fee. Fee page: https://www.craigslist.org/about/help/posting_fees.
- Swappa: A small flat-style fee; listings are reviewed and IMEI/serial checked. Fee page: https://swappa.com/fees.

Questions
Which of the three is cheapest?
Neither this page nor BuyLow will say. Fees differ, and the listing prices are whatever those sites return in the live search.
Does the search show only one marketplace?
No. The search box calls BuyLow's live listing search. It is not filtered to eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Mercari alone.
Where is a sell quote?
On Quote. That screen is separate from shopping, and it stays blank when no buyback source has published a price.
Can I try a search without an account?
Yes. Browse live deals as guest, or choose Sign up free — Continue with Google.
