The four checks
Model and storage first. Then battery health from Settings, not from the seller's memory. Then carrier lock: unlocked is not the same phone as a financed device. Finally Face ID, cameras, and a clean iCloud sign-out.

- A new battery changes the price. Ask for the battery health percentage.
- eBay and Swappa are the usual shipped markets. Facebook Marketplace is the local one.
