AirPods Max used price guide and live deals
A AirPods Max asking price is only comparable to another 2020 AirPods Max with the same capacity and condition. This page tells you what to line up. The prices themselves come from the live search, not from a table. AirPods Max, not AirPods Pro and not AirPods 4. The 2020 and 2024 headphones share the design. The charging port is the generation split. Shipped pairs show up on eBay, Mercari, and Swappa. Local pairs show up on Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp. If you opened this from a YouTube video, the price in that video is the creator's example, not a live comp.

Condition checklist
Run this list on a AirPods Max before you treat two live asking prices as the same product. A parts listing is not a comp for a working one.
- Lightning versus USB-C. Compare those generations separately.
- Mesh canopy and both ear cushions. Condensation or a rattle in the drivers is a condition issue.
- Smart Case in or out of the bundle. A missing case is a different lot.
- Serial on the ear cup should match. Digital Crown and Transparency need a powered demo.

Flip checklist for a AirPods Max
A flip is a real buy price, minus fees and shipping, minus a real sell price. This page does not have those two prices, so it does not print a margin. Confirm AirPods Max before you buy something to resell. Quote is only for an item you already own, and only when a buyback source has published a price.
- Match the spec on the device or the packaging, not only in the title.
- Subtract the fee notes above and shipping before you treat a gap as money.
- Local pickup can skip shipping. Meet in public and confirm it works.
- A number in a video is that creator's example. Search live listings.
